Solent Society and Volunteering Awards 2012 – LIVE!
For the first time Solent Student’s Union will be holding Society and Volunteering awards to celebrate the hard work that students have been doing over the past year. Following our success streaming the Students’ Union elections, SonarTV have been invited to provide an online live broadcast of the awards night. So for those of you who can’t make it down to the Mo’ Club, head here at 8PM on Wednesday 23rd May to watch the full thing as and when it happens. SonarTV Elections Results 2012
SonarTV are pleased to announce their new committee for the academic year of 2012/2013. The new committee will oversee the running of the society for the next year from May 24th 2012, making key decisions to develop and maintain the station. The new committee lines up as follows:

It is truly great to see an incoming committee that is twice the size of the previous year, especially with such a range of new and old faces amongst them. Sonar Media Big Fat Quiz – Thursday 3rd May 2012

Charity Fashion Interchange and Fashion Show
SonarTV teamed up with 5th Avenue Events to create some promotional videos for the upcoming Charity Fashion Interchange and Fashion Show on the 4th May 2012 at Hilton Hotel, Bracken Place, Southampton.

The event is being put on by Fashion Management with Marketing students in their third year of study, and will feature a range of designers, including Juliette’s Thread, Tyffany’s, Foxy Lady, Devernois, Premium Footwear and Dune. Proceeds will be donated to Naomi House.
